I haven't done it in a while so I decided to do some routine maintenance on my car. We just replaced the spark plugs, distributor cap and rotar. The car started fine and ran for about 10 seconds before we turned it off again. About five minutes later we tried to start it again and it won't start. It tries to turn over but the spark plugs aren't making a spark. We even tried replacing all the old parts and resetting the battery but it won't start. Any ideas?

Ensure that the black cover behind the rotor is still there and didn't fall out while you replace the rotor. ensure that the rotor screw is still tight and nothing is loose.

If that all checks out, run the following tests on the ignition coil and ICM.
