1995 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

My Civic will turn over is getting fire but wont start. Ive sprayed starting fluid into the breather and it will start but wont stay running. Ive tried to take the fuel filter and it wont come off Could you please tell me how to get it off and also the fuel pump location and how to replace it

Fuel pump is located under the rear seat bench. The whole rear seat must come out to access it.

To get the fuel filter out, it's a 17mm banjo bolt on the top, 14mm flare nut on the bottom and a 10mm bolt holding it to the bracket.

Are the nuts on the fuel filter reversed thread? We cant get them loose. Also how do we get the fuel pump out?
