About a month ago I started having a problem with my 91 civic. It started one day while I was driving and it just randomly died! I pulled over on the curb and checked for the basic things. After waddling back and forth for a while I finally just unplugged and replugged my wires. It started! The next day as I was driving home it just randomly shutoff again. When I tried to do the same technique it wouldnt work! Last night after my car sat in my driveway for a month I finally decided to check it again. After checking my tming belt and my wires. I moved on the the distributor cap. The carbon brush seemed a lil bent but that was all. After putting it back on. My car started it ran fine yesterday, but today as I was waiting for a light at an intersection, the car randomly shut off when I gave it a little bit of throttle! Im not sure how to check the ignition coil if thats the problem! But my car is sitting somewhere in an abandoned lot and I would be grateful for any help I get. Thanks everyone (:

After it cooled off it started back up and ran for a week or two no problem the I went back outside one day to crank it and it would just turn over the engine and wouldnt start come to find out the crank censor plug on the rear of the engine came unplugged pluged it back it ran ever since!
