My daughter's 1996 Accord 4 cyl, auto, 107,000 miles, just had an oil change with a questianable mechanic. 37 miles after leaving the shop, the odometer stopped, then started, then stopped. The speedo is fine.
My Haynes manual doesn't mention the speedo or odometer.
My Honda CD is just as helpful.

Do you have suggestions?
Where would I find complete schematics for this car?
Tip follows.

Thanks,
Bill

Being intermittent will be fun, but since the mechanic was under the car and could have accidently disconnected a connector, I suggest looking at the transmission for a broken wire or loose connection of the vehicle speed sensor. (VSS)
