Thermostat

I have a 1996 Honda Accord 120,000. When the car run the temp. Meter is normal but when im stoped in a red light the temp. Meter raise up almost to the H. Sometimes when the car runs the temp meter is in C when is actually warmup. And also it consume a lot of antifreeze. Do you think that the thermostat need to be replace?

Find out where the antifreeze is going. The thermostat is not the fault unless it is leaking. Once you stop the leak, if the engine still overheats then look to the thermostat. Find the leak.
