i have a 1991 honda accord sw with sport shifting and overdrive. Mine also does not start at times.(Like now), when I turn the key on, if the green s light continues to blink it will not start. Turning it on and off to get that one light to stop could take anywhere from 1 try to 100 tries. Fustrating. Especially in california in the summertime. Anyways, not too long ago, it just died in the middle of driving it. Distributer needed replacement. Worked for about a week with no problem after we put a new dis in, then started doing it again. Now its almost everytime I try to start it. I thought maybe neutral safety switch or something along that line. I don't know. Help! :X

During the time when it won't start you have to check for spark and fuel delivery. Only then can we head down the right path.

Hi!

I'm now on my 3rd distributor at my mechanics request. After 1st dist, ran for 2 weeks before giving me trouble, after 2nd dist ran for less than 24 hrs before trouble and now 3rd dist has been installed and car still won't start and has sport light flashing. My mechanic says its not the spark plugs, has obviously ruled out the dist and says that my fuel pump is running fine. Now he's working on making sure that my wiring is not worn. Any suggestions?

Mmllgg, what was your outcome?
