2000 Honda Accord V6 3.0 Vtech engine, 95,000 miles. Recently while driving the battery light along with all the door ajar warning lights went on. When I opened up the hood I heard a sound coming from the alternator. We were able to drive home (about 20 miles) without a problem to switch cars. I haven't had any problems starting the car since but the lights remain on. Any ideas? If it is the alternator is it a simple switch - looks like a tight squeeze to get it out.
