I have a 1990 honda accord 4 cilinder, the battery light went on and I thought it needed too be changed, because it was in need of one. So I changed the battery and the terminals, and after a few minutes of test driving the battery light went on, and I noticed the battery was spitting acid out of the top part of it, not through the terminals, but through the air hole where you add battery acid through, the battery is a energizer battery, what can this be?

You should ckeck the voltage at the posts, and cover the battery with a wet rag while you do it, I think you will find an overcharge condition, providing you connected the terminals the right way. The regulator portion of the system is not regulating properly! You will need to remove the alternator and bring it to Autozone and have it tested, they will do it free of charge!
