Hello,
This idle issue can be due to a faulty idle air control valve (IAC).
If the IAC is dirty it could impact the idle. Over time larger air particles get stuck to the inside of the valve and restricts air flow. If it get bad enough it can cause the idle to suffer.
Many times you can improve the idle by simply cleaning out the IAC.
The IAC is located on the center rear of the engine compartment on the side of the throttle body (see diagram).
