While driving my car today everything completely turned off and all of a sudden my check engine light came on. After pulling off the road I was able to restart my car but I'm afraid to drive it because I don't want it to happen again.

If the check engine light came on, there will be a trouble code stored in the computer identifying where the problem is coming from.

Take it to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer. Most will do it for free, so there is no money out of pocket.
