2004 Honda Accord Engine Air Filter

For some reason, the screws holding the engine air filter will not come out to replace the filter. I have been told by two different oil change businesses that I will need to order the entire casing holding the air filter because they will have to break the screws to remove them. Being a SWF I have no idea if this is true or not. What should I do? My 04 Honda has 59K on it and I don't think the air filter has ever been replaced.

Bring your car to a local repair shop, we have experience in removing these screws that the quick lube guys strip out. Most likely your local garage will get the screws out. Hope this helps
