I just bought a used 2003 Honda Accord DX Coupe. Everything in the interior seems to work fine, except the display of the clock/stereo/buttons that should "light up" at night. The stereo/CD player/air, etc work fine; I just can't see anything on the screen. Also, the cruise control button (on the steering wheel) will not stay pressed. If I manually hold it down, the cruise works fine, but if I let go, the button pops out and it quits.
Is it possible that these problems will be easily fixed?

The stereo light may have a bad wire or connection on the back, If it had an aftermarket stereo in it before. Check all connections at the back of the stereo, did you turn up the dimmer for the dash lights? they are connected. The cruise sounds like it needs a new button.
