My wife bought a 2002 Honda Accord from a lady that she works with. She got a "good" deal on the car, but she said it needs to have the timing belt changed (never had changed). The accord has 112000 miles on it (one owner car). I called a local honda dealership, and they recommended I change out the timing belt, water pump, and most of the other belts along with new plugs and wires. They have a service for all of that which is "specific" for the honda accord. To have all of this done is $699. Is that reasonable or do I need to shop around. I have never had a Honda and no nothing about mainenance on non GM vehicles. Thanks.
