I tried starting my car this morning but it did not start. I placed my keys in the ignition and the engine would not start, I dont know if its the starter or what but I remember Honda replacing it awhile back because it was supposedly a recall, I tried charging the battery but that did not work, the day before I had an alignment done but I dont know if that did anything.

So the vehicle does not crank?

Instead of trying to charge the battery, try boosting it to see if it starts. If it doesn't check all power and ground connections. You may also want to check fuses to ensure they are all functioning.

If not, you will want to check to see if the starter S terminal is receiving a signal when you try and crank the vehicle.

The smallest wire on the start solenoid is the S wire.

When the vehicle is being cranked via a friend, you can check to see if you are getting voltage at that terminal.

Well do what I mentioned first. Checking fuses is easy if you have a test light or multimeter, so is checking battery cables and boosting the battery!
