1997 Honda Accord automatic tranny

Several symtoms indicate internal trans. Problems. Acommon one is the tach. Going up while the car slows down, especially up hill. Harsh or bang shifting into next gear. Another is lag time b-tween shifts, kind of like longer than useual time b-4 it is actually in the next gear. How many miles on car? How long have you had it? There are issues w/Honda trannys. Not that they are a bad buy, all I own are Hondas, even lawn eqip. & Motorcycle. For just under 13.00 you can get the service manual for your car, it will also give you all Recalls & Technical Service Bullitens. The worse you can get is "no". They replaced a cylender head on my 2001 Honda CRV ! Just be NICE. They paid for part & I paid for labor. Good Luck !
