After driving for about 1 hour we stopped and had lunch for a half hour. We then started the beautiful thing but as i was taking my wallet out of my back pocket she stopped and wouldnt restart. We cracked the fuel at the top of the motor and it poured out, we then pulled out a plug lead and couldnt see any spark.

Check timing belt
remove distributor cap and check if rotor spinning when cranking
and if so suspect bad distributor
