Electrical problem
1995 Honda Accord 6 cyl Automatic

Within the last month, we took our car into Honda to have the air conditioner checked. They replaced the timing belt, water pump and several other belts but did not fix the air conditioner. Now the SRS light and last night the "Check" engine light came on. What is happening? The engine sounds fine and drives well. We checked all obvious things: water, oil, belts, air in tires. "What now?"

Hi Cindy Merino,

A fault has been detected by the Engine Control Module and Supplementary Restraint System (AirBag)module. You need to scan for the error code with a diagnostic scanner. You can get it done free at your local Autozone outlet.

Since Honda did not do a good job, you should get back to them and make your displeasure felt, especially with regards to the AC not working.
