1992 Honda Accord 4 cyl 2.2 Front Wheel Drive Manual

in my 92 honda accord I can start my car if I move the Distributor forward just passed where you bolt it to the engine and then when its started I move it back to where it should be and it runs find. But I have to do this everytime to start it. The timing is good and the Distributor is new

I just had a honda give me same kind of problem. It felt as if the timing was too far advanced and it would buck when trying to start, I found that the starter motor was bad causing not enough cranking power. It was a last ditch effort and it was the first time I had seen a starter act this way but thats what fixed it.

Ya the starter is new as well. I'm going to try and replace the computers under the carpet on the passengers side as well

Look real close at the connector at the computer because I have also seen them corrode fromwater intrusion and sometimes unplugging them and plugging them back in work temporarily
