1991 Honda Accord what is wrong?

When I start my car it runs great for a few miles then the ckeck engine light comes on, the sports light flashes, the speedometer doesn't work, the odometer and the trip counter doesn't work either. Also my car will start to run badly at this point, it sputters or hesitateskinda like its not getting enough fuel or something! My fiance and baby r about to have to make a trip to missouri, and I want to make sure they'll make it! Thanks

Hi dkyle_20,

The speed sensor is faulty, get it replaced and all your problems should be solved.

However if the check light still comes on after the speedometer is functioning, get a scan done to find out what is wrong.
