1991 Honda Accord Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles

I was driving my 1991 honda accord for like 3 hours after I replaced a new timing belt and it starded doing like it was out of gas but it did had gas and a couple minutes after it shut off and it didn't turn back on

Hi there,

You will have to check that there is spark at the plugs, fuel pressure and injection pulse. If you have a work shop manual, I presume you do as you did the timing belt, this will tell you how to go about checking these things. Start there and re post for more information if required.

Chances are the timing blet was too loose and now it has failed, I would remove the ignition cap and have a helper crank the engine over, if the rotor does not move you know for sure the timing belt needs to be redone.
