1991 Honda Accord car starts then dies then starts.

Well my honda ex 1991. Just started doing this two days ago. It didnt want turn over then it tuned over. But when I was driving to work the rpm speedometer went down then it picked up where it left off. Is there kind of a safety switch that put in 91 accord. That shuts down the car. Or could be something else.

Hi christopher lopez,

No there are no safety switch.

If you were not able to crank the engine and it dies whne the key is released, check if the dash indicators are turning on at that instance. If none, then you have a faulty ignition switch.
