1990 Honda Accord transmission

I was driving on the interstate the other day and accidentally switched my gear into reverse. Suddenly, the car mad a loud "humming" sound. I quickly put it back in drive. Now, my vehicle will not drive in reverse. Help! Also. Prior to this incident, it seems as though the car has a difficult time accelerating.

I'm affraid it's time to go inside trans. For repair, unless you want to replace it. There is a pressure test that can be performed @ your local Honda Dealer to verify internal damage.
