Unit has virtually no heat since a/c season; has historically been very good performer.
Probably heat blend door needs attention, but need to figure out how to access the
upper center forward dash/removal procedure?
Also, I believe this model is cable/pushrod actuated (and sounds that way), but I
understand some models have a motor drive for this door; can anybody clarify?

It has a cable check to see if it is broken or a clip is broken, try taking glove box out for access and maybe control panel if cable is broken.

You may be able to get cables out by removing the two things i'sve sent in pics otherwise you need to remove dash which there are to many pic s to forward on how to do it.

Ok, access did not require removing glovebox or
center dash (unless you would need to replace the cable);
all the heater control cables/levers are just above
the gas pedal, and no covers have to be removed.

The inop conditions showing hot and cold settings:
cable jacket is loose from the heater box anchor.

THE CHEAP FIX;
Set knob at full heat, and pivot lever all the way
rearward, and snap into clip [fix hot. Jpg]
RTV/silicone cable in place (allow to cure before
moving knob) [rtv hot. Jpg]

Seems to work pretty good now, thanks.
