When you drive the car the temperature stays normal but as soon as you start stopping or stop the temperature gauge shoots up to the overheating line. I’ve replaced the thermostat and water pump and they work. I think it might be the radiator or the heater core, but I’m not sure. I don’t want to go out and pay $100.00 to $200.00 to get them installed. The car also has little to no heat blowing into the cab. So I’m not sure if it’s both the heater core and radiator or just one or nether of them.

If there is no heat in the cabin then you need to check the coolant level. As for overheating when coming to a stop it could be related to low coolant or the radiator cooling fan not coming on. If it is overheating that could cause coolant to overflow and cause your low coolant level or you have a leak.

Here are a couple of links on heater operation and what causes overheating:

Check the coolant level and have the cooling fan motors checked for proper operation.

Make sure you remove the hoses from the core and flush with a garden hose.
