I have changed the blower motor and resistor he would not work. Next day it start blowing and working. Two weeks later again it stop blowing. Won’t work on any settings but when you cut it on you can hear it turn over but won’t blow.

Good afternoon,

I attached a diagram for you to view.

Check the red wire to the resistor for power with the key on when the system does not work.

Trying to narrow the area of failure for it not working.

I went and moved the wires around nothing still. Also check the connection and everything seem to be together. But it does work for a week and then stops working. I really don’t know that much about cars but what I can research and watch videos to fix on YouTube.

Okay, you need to check the voltage like I explained to see if power is available for the system to work.

Tested the wires to the blower motor and resistor and no power is going to either.

Check the blower fuse I listed on the diagram for power. That is what feeds the red wire to the resistor.

Did you check for voltage at the fuse? This is not a visual test, it is a voltage test at the fuse.

It should have voltage on both sides with the fuse installed.

If it does, then the wire is open between there and the resistor.

It is not a ground. It is a power wire.

Somewhere in the harness, there is an open. Where is a good question?

As far as running another wire, you could do that. You could run a wire from that fuse to the resistor and see if it powers up the motor.

No, it needs to go the red wire at the resistor. That is the wire with the issue.
