Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.
(test one) First, I would check if there is power to the light socket. Here are a few links that describe how to use a multi meter, test light, and how to check wiring:

If you find there is no power, there are four fuses in the vehicle for the headlights. I attached a portion of a wiring schematic for you to see which fuses are for which headlight function. Take a look at them.
Here are a couple links that show how to check a fuse and check for power:

Now, if when you complete test one you find there is power, then we need to check for a ground problem. You mentioned in the title headlights, but only said you worked on one. So, I am attaching a schematic that shows left and right headlights (picture 2). The black wires in the plug are the grounds. It indicates where on the vehicle they are located. The other two wires on each plug are for power. One is for high beam and the other low beam.
One last ground to check. That one is located behind the kick panel on the driver's side. The kick panel is where your left foot would touch. There is a panel that needs removed to access the wiring behind it. See picture 3.
Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe
