My hazards have been out for a while but recently my turn signals stopped working. All other lights functioning as normal (except one tag light) I replaced the MFS and the flasher on the dash fuse panel. No luck Fuse 13 is hot always and 7 is hot in run. Looking at the schematic, it looks like there may be two separate flasher modules. Is this correct? If so, I can't find the second one. I am just starting to check wiring. Seems odd they would stop working seperately. Thanks for any help you can offer. Jim

It does look like there are two flashers, but I think the problem is the multi-function switch. Dirt gets down inside of it and messes with the contacts, you can try Cylinder relearn the switch about 20 times to see if it cleans the connects.

Here are the wiring diagrams and a guide to see where you lose power:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-test-light-circuit-tester

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Here is how you can change the switch out in case you need it:

NOTE: On models with tilt columns, unscrew the tilt lever and remove.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove steering column shroud.
2. Remove switch to steering column tube casting attaching screws, then disengage switch from column.
3. Disconnect switch electrical connectors.

NOTE: Do not damage PRNDL cable.

4. Remove switch assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install. torque switch attaching screws to 18-27 inch lbs.

Let me know.

Hey Ken, thanks for the reply. I think you missed the fact that I replaced the multi-function switch (MFS). This had no effect on the problem. The flasher on the dash fuse panel was also replaced, with no change. Jim

Yep, sorry about that, MFS now I get it. There are two flashers in the fuse panel in front and one in the back of the panel.

The Turn Flasher is located behind LH side of the instrument panel, on the front of fuse panel.

And

The Hazard Flasher is located behind the Left Hand side of the instrument panel, on the rear of the fuse panel, behind the turn signal flasher. Check out the image below.

Hey Ken, update on my truck. After doing some bench testing and continuity tests, I discovered that the MFS I just bought was a POS! Not working! I put the old switch back in (with a replacement flasher) and I now have turn signals again! My big problem now is, where is the hazard flasher? I checked the backside of the dash fuse panel and there is not nor ever has been a flasher on the back. The photo shows a mystery box on the bottom of the steering column. Any idea what this is? I see nothing that looks like a flasher.

That is not the flasher, that's for sure. Good job on the MFS find. Bad parts are no fun at all. The manual says the flasher is on the backside of the fuse panel.

Trust me, there is no flasher on the rear of that panel. If and when I find it, I will let you know. Thank you for the input. Jim

Hey Ken, the mystery has been solved! I took her to my mechanic after three days of looking. The reason I could not find the flasher. The old one, at some point, fell out! It must have fallen and gone unnoticed and kicked out on exiting the truck. It was located on the back of the dash fuse panel. Really, I can't make this stuff up. Thank you for your help and sorry for the confusion. This kind of crap can only happen to me. My turn to feel stupid, LOL.
