Had every thing checked it started, but this morning just turned over. I had to use starter fluid. Can you tell me if the ring seal on the fuel tank sucking air keep the car from starting? [BENJAMIN]

Hello,

I do not think that seal would cause the not starting problem.

Here is a guide to get you started in the right direction:

Please let us know what you find.

I got this car from my son's girlfriend in 2016. I have put in a new cooling system then I put on a oxygen sensor it started on about the third turn. Then it went to five or six turns then no start. Put in starter fluid was told fuel pump changed pump and filet then went to EGR valve fuel regulator. MAF sensor new battery my step son who is an ASE mechanic (a good one). He put on his computer put his ohm did some mechanic stuff and it started right up ran well. The next morning no start, used starting fluid started for or five turns well he said to drive it three or four times so the computer will reboot. Still not start without starting fluid. It runs some what better, but I am trying to get rid of this junk but I need it to start right. Thank you (sorry about the last time I was over heated and mad) Thank you again. Benjamin

It sounds like the fuel pump is weak or the fuel system pulse dampener is not working right (in tank). Some had this and some didn't.

We removed these and replaced them with straight fuel line.

Please let us know what you find.
