Central car lock remote control replacement

Hey,

I have only one copy of a remote control for the vehicle's central locking.
Where can I buy the same one? It is an old model though, but I figured I can still find it.

Do they look like the picture attached? If so, you can find them on the internet pretty easily. Just google Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter for 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Also, the issue you will have is programming them. You will need use of a scan tool capable of doing this. Any dealer or shop with a comparable scan tool can program them quickly.

Hey.
It is very similar to the photo you attached (I tried to attach one of my own, see if it is attached now).
The only problem is I am from Israel, and I know the programming should be on European frequency )I got the number by now, but I am not sure where the programming can be done here in Israel.

That is correct. That is the same, the only difference is your's does not have the security system. Your remotes are available as well.

As far as getting it programmed, I would suggest just calling around to some repair shops because many tools can perform this function not just a dealership. You will just need to find one that can do it. If one says they cannot, ask what they do when they need one programmed. Who do that send them too or tell their customers? I can't imagine it will be that hard to find someone with a tool to do it because this is not an uncommon procedure.
