When I took it to get it smogged, they told me I have a fuel compression leak and could not pass smog. I checked from the inlet up to the engine compartment and eveything looked good. I know it can be anywhere along the system, but is the a "common problem" area that I might check first, or is there a "handy-dandy" way of finding the leak? Thanks for you help.

Check the fuel pressure yourself and a fuel pressure leakdown and see if its leaking down.

If it was external youd smell gas.

Thank you very much for the insite. I will research the fuel pressure leakdown, I don't smell gas, so maybe that's a good thing, :-). I'll let you know how it goes, thanks again.
