90 GMC Sierra doesn't start

My 90 GMC Sierra (7.4L) does nothing when the key is turned in the ignition. I've eliminated the battery as a culprit (replaced with a new one). All electrical seems to work fine (idiot lights on dash, turn signals, radio, power windows, etc.) So I suspect it's starter, neutral switch, fusible link or the ignition switch itself. Any hints as to how to further troubleshoot. Location of the neutral switch would be helpful as well as how to remove the ignition switch should that be the failure.

If you replaced the battery, try having the alternator tested. I had a couple of bad ones on my 88 gmc. Right out of the box, my guess though it's probably the starter. A good way to check is have someone else crank it over, you get a hammer and hit the starter a couple of times to see if it turns over, this usually loosens the coils a little to get it started. If that's the case. It's the starter. If not, it's probalby the ignition switch.
