The truck has an intermittent starting problem. When it has been driven for more than 15 minutes on a hot day then parked, it will not restart. There is no noise at all when the key is turned in the igniition. Once the truck is allowed to sit for at least 20 minutes, it restarts fine.

When it refuses to crank, did you try cranking in neutral? If that doesn't work, I'd have to check the circuits at the starter relay, underhood fuse box. The load side of relay is hot all the time. The coil side of relay goes hot with the key in the crank position.
