2002 GMC Sierra oil pressure

Just noticed that my oil pressure gauge is moving between 10-45. 10 at an idle and when I pat the gas it rises and while i'm driving it's around 45 psi.
I'm using 10w-30 due to temp. Only differenece is that it's been around 95 degree out side and i've bee driving all day?

At idle should read 10-15psi the more you kick on the pedal it will rise bcuz the oil pump is spinning faster-If in doubt replace the oil pressure sending unit for a start-that don't work come on back and I'll get into more details
