Had the alternator replaced on Wednesday morning since it was faulty and not charging the battery. When I went to start my truck Wednesday night, it wouldn't start. When I turned the key, it clicked once but wouldn't start. Had it towed to repair shop. They were sure it was the starter. They replaced the starter but it still did the same one click thing. They thought that it was possibly a faulty starter as well as that does rarely happen. They tried a second starter but it still did the same thing. I have plenty of battery power but that's about it. Any ideas?

Did you (or the shop) check the starter relay?

It ended up being the positive battery cable. Once it was replaced, all was well. Thanks for the quick response.
