I have a 1997 Pontiac Bonneville with 80,000 miles. The problem that I am having has to deal with sluggish starts. I originally thought it was the battery but I have replaced that now and still have the problem.
Here is a description with more detail. When I start the car cold it starts 'ok'. A bit sluggish, has some trouble turning over the first time, but then starts and runs fine. If I drive somewhere and then come back out and try to start the car it turns over VERY slowly but does eventually start. So, it seems to start harder when the engine is hot or warm.
The problem has been there for a few months now and has not gotten any worse or better. It leaves me with the thought 'Will it start next time?'.
Can anyone give me some advice?
Thank you!
