2000 Malibu blows fuse for lighter and aux. Charger as soon as you install the fuse what could be the problem?

Disconnect the battery. Fuses sometimes blow when you shove the new fuse in there. If thats not the problem try a higher amp fuse.

dont use a higher rated fuse unless you want to burn up your vehicle. Simple things to check, are inside the cig lighter for metal object. Otherwise find what else is on the circuit and check for wires shorted to ground

Did you do any modifications lately? Is anything connected to the Cig Lighter? Fuses will blow under a surge (that's why you have them!) Make sure everything is disconnected from your cigarette lighters before putting the fuse in. Make sure you are using the proper rated fuse in the panel. Double check the cig lighter for items that may be shorting it out. Electrical problems are always the hardest to diagnose. :(
