normal oil pressure reading at start-up, then pegs out when I accelerate

Normally this is due to a faulty sensor but we need to check that just to be sure.

The way to figure this out quickly is to put a mechanical gauge on the engine and then see if that gauge acts the same as yours. If it does then you have an oil pressure issue. If not then the gauge is the issue.

I am attaching the info below on how to replace the sensor as I am pretty sure this is the issue.
