My 1973 Chevy Impala has an excess for think white smoke that comes fro the right tali pipe only, now it dosen't smoke all the time. The majority of the time it will smoke, and when driving the more I accelerate the more smoke that is produced. What could be the problem, and how can I stop it permanently.

White smoke usually means coolant is burning. That's bad news if so hehe. If coolant is getting into the combustion chamber, then you likely have a head gasket going. Only other way I could see is if there's an oil cooler in the radiator and that has a leak/problem. This isn't necessarily the problem though.

First off, are you losing coolant? If you are losing coolant and there is NOT a sign of an external leak (check the radiator hoses, water pump gasket, etc.), Then it's pointing to the head gasket. If so, hold the throttle open some while you watch for bubbles in the coolant reservoir. That's also a sign. If you have an air compressor available, you can do this test by adapting a cheap spark plug to the end and pressurizing each cylinder. If that causes coolant bubbles, you've got yourself a head gasket issue.
