I've had similar trouble w/ my '93 Chevy truck and it turned out to be the ECM. Before I go and replace this one I would like a second opinion.

The vehicle was running fine, then acted like it was running out of gas and quit. Since I had over half a tank I know I'm not out of gas. About 10 min later it started and ran/started fine for a couple of days. Now it won't start at all. I sprayed a small amount of Starting Fluid in the Throttle Body and still won't start. It turns over fine, just acts like there's no spark.

Any suggestions?

Bad fuel pump probably. Common problem. Do you hear the pump when you turn the key on? Run a fuel pressure test and see what you have. Also test to see if the fuel pressure regulator is operating properly.

There was fuel entering the throttle body so it wasn't the fuel pump. After much examination and inquiry I found out it is very common for moisture to enter the distributor cap from two small vent holes in the distributor housing, fouling the cap and rotor.
Turns out this was the problem. Replaced cap and rotor and all is well.

Thanks for your help
