I was driving my 2000 4.3 GMC jimmy and it just died, the battery light came on, I tried to restart the vehicle, it would turn over but not start. After 3 attempts to start the jimmy it did take off but only run for 10-15 seconds and stalled out again. Then would not start again. I replaced the battery and still no go it’s getting fuel but no spark any thoughts?

Sounds like your alternator has gave out. The vehicle started by drawing power from the battery, then soon died because the battery only holds a small amount of power that is needed to keep the vehicle running. Have your alternator tested to see if it is holding the correct amount of volts.
