1997 GMC Jimmy wont start getting fuel to the 2 lines behin

This is the vortec engine right? Or is it a throttle body injected engine? Does the check engine light come on when the key is in the run position?

There is a huge difference between the two so just to make sure we are both on the right page look at your vin number and give me the eigth digit. It should be a z or w or x

Ok that is what I thought it was. Your truck has 6 injectors under the plastic housing that the throttle body sits on. You need to or have them check for injecotr pulse which is having them check for power at each injector and a flashing ground pulse from the computer. Most likely the computer is not firing the injectors for some reason. Does your theft light on dash come on and then flash or does it just go out. Also does the check engine light come on with the key in the run position?

This is a little more complicated that ordinary and is not easy for a skilled tech to figure out, you must start by checking for power at the fuel injectors then check for a flashing ground trigger for them and find out what is missing.
