1996 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I stopped at a gas station and turned off my jimmy and when I came back out it would not start and the dash display lights would not not come on when the key is turned over.I read all the fuses and relays with a meter and they all show good and it got me stumped.

Are you saying it wouldn't crank? Battery and connections are good? You may have to check feed to and from the ignition switch. Usually the feed to the switch is protected by fusible links located underhood, rear engine compartment, driverside. One of the circuits from the positive battery post should go to that junction block. Use a testlite test the outbound side of all fusible links, should be hot.
