1993 GMC Jimmy 93 s15jimmy wont start

My fuel pump went out so I replaced it. After replacing the pump, strainer and fuel filter I tried to start it and it wouldnt start. Thinking it might not have gotten enough fire I replaced the ignition module, the rotor, distributor cap and coil pack. Tried to start it again nothing. It acts as if it's not getting any gas what could the problem be?

When you turn on the key do you hear the pump come on? If not either the pump isn't connected properly or the fuse is blown. Could also be that the ground wire didn't get connected good.
