1993 GMC Jimmy Engine won't start

Engine Performance problem
1993 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 97xxx miles

Engine died and would not start. I replaced the fuel pump, and inline fuel filter. Have fuel under pressure to the engine. Replaced the distributer cap, roter, and have good spark to at the plugs. Engine runs while spraying with starting fluid. I am out of ideas.
