I have a 92 2500 series GMC truck. When I first start vehicle cold, the oil pressure gage is pined all the way up. After it warms up, the gage reads normal till I excede a certain rpm then it pins high again. Also I am starting to get some seepage of oil from rear seal. Could there be a problem with the pump?

excessive crankcase pressure is one culprit, ie: pcv blocked, if you have a way to do it i would do a manual oil pressure test if it checks out ok check the oil pressure sensor , the leak may not be related if the pressure is correct
