2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD w/6.6L Duramax and 5-spd Allison AutoTrans. 16,300 miles. I have noticed recently that while stopped at a traffic light, the engine will stumble slightly and produce a thick white/blue smoke out of the exhaust pipe. It will do this for at least 20-30 seconds until I start to drive away, then it stops. It usually happens within 5-15 minutes after startup, engine at normal operating temp, and not weather dependent. Just replaced fuel filter; no change in condition. Truck runs great otherwise. Is this fuel injector problem? Please help.
Also, is 14-15 mpg typical for city driving (no load)?
