Welcome to 2CarPros.
First, see if it will start if you put it in neutral. The neutral safety switch may be bad or out of adjustment. If it doesn't, then we need to see if there is power going to the S connector on the starter solenoid.
On the starter there are two wires. One is hot all the time direct from the battery, so confirm that. The other is a much smaller wire that only gets 12v when the key is in the start position. That will need checked too.
