First what engine and how many miles?
What is the problem that caused you to replace the coil. I assume it will not start. If this is the case then do you have spark?
I do believe that only 1 coil terminal should get power.
If the timing belt broke the rotor inside the distirbutor will not turn as the engine is being cranked over.
