1991 Geo Storm timing degrees

I don't have a way of knowing what the degrees are for the 1991 geo storm gsi, Like 6 degrees before top dead center, or what it may be can you help me with this, we just changed the timing belt belt and its running what seems to be ok, but iborrowed a timing light but don't kwow what to set it at to get the best gas economy.
