I'm trying to replace the fuel pump in my car, but when it comes to pulling it out it seems it's a hair or two too big. I saw people replace them without taking the fuel tank off, but I'm leading to that soon. But I rather not just a in and out replacement.

Hi MaeMae,

I am not sure what you mean by it looks a hair too big. Are you comparing it to the one that is in the vehicle?

Here is the procedure and it appears you are to remove it from inside the vehicle by taking out the rear seat cushion.

Here is a guide that this site provides. Give it a glance as well because it has some good information in it.

Let me know if there is anything else after you take a look at all this information.

Thanks.

Kenny
